Our 2004 Chardonnay. The last two bottles walk out of cellar door on Friday. In Melbourne I fund a survivor with friend Catherine and we had it with lamb Tahine (two days early, sorry Sam!), a medley of rainbow beets, sweet potato and beans. The wine was a beautiful colour, full flavoured and acid still evident. a apricot/apple nose followed through to the palate, soft, full flavoured and balanced. If you want to see wines like that, get some discipline!
